Great project meeting in Madrid end of January: One year of intensive work is behind us. Project partners from six European countries formed their teams to collaborate in synergy towards one goal – providing effective support for a better integration of cohort data.  This makes sense and is fun. This is Europe at its best. We met, took stock and prepared the next steps. Highlights this year are the publication of first results. In April a worldwide repository of population cohorts, patient cohorts and clinical trials will be published on our website. In the middle of the year an international survey of efforts to harmonize and integrate cohort data and a repository of new technologies used to collect cohort-data will follow. And at the end of the year our stakeholders have access to a worldwide inventory of infrastructures providing support for the integration of cohort data – great work, a great project!
